Family Rescue Center's total annual operating budget is roughly $255,000, which funds our programs (food and clothing distribution, vocational training assistance, medical services, holiday and back-to-school drives, social services referrals, and more), our facilities, and our part-time staff of four. Donations large and small are greatly appreciated. All gifts are tax deductible (EIN#: 33-1018720). If you feel led to help us serve those in need in our community, please donate MONTHLY.

DONATE FOOD, NEW CLOTHING, SHOES & HYGIENE ITEMS

We welcome donations of unopened, non-expired food (particularly canned tuna, peanut butter, and cereal); and hygiene items such as diapers, toiletries, and sanitary supplies.

New clothing and shoes for men, women, and children are also much appreciated. Most people that request clothing are homeless, so new functional (seasonally appropriate) basic clothing is what we need most. (Please note that we can no longer accept used clothing donations. Thank you for your understanding.)

TOYS

Donate toys for kids of all ages to help give them a Merry Christmas. Please bring unwrapped new toys (preferably valued at $15 or more) to Family Rescue Center Monday to Friday 9am-1pm. APPRECIATED SECURITIES/STOCK

Making a Gift of Appreciated Securities/Stock to Family Rescue Center (FRC) such as stocks or other appreciated assets can be a great tax-efficient method for making a gift to FRC. In most instances, you can take a tax deduction for the full market value of the gift and avoid any capital gains tax.
